A questionnaire administration in 5 different countries : France, UK, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands

For this mission, I was in charge of carrying out a consulting service for Indeez, a French firm that aims to “help Independent workers stay in control by fixing the income protection gap that exists when you work for yourself ” (company website).

With ESCP Junior Consulting we supported Indeez by conducting a 15 questions questionnaire administration and obtaining 150 responses with an 80% average response rate in the last very tricky question of the questionnaire.

Right after the first meeting, my colleague Giulio Sessa and I divided tasks. Giulio was in charge of developing the LoM itself, whereas I was in charge of structuring and justifying the budget. Since the client needed further clarifications and a document certifying we wouldn’t have used the collected data for other purposes, we sent the LoM back and a non-disclosure agreement and the client signed it. The mission required us to complete the job in 5 working days, including the delivery of the deliverables, the excel file containing our findings. For this purpose, we recruited 4 interviewers to speed up the questionnaire administration. They showed great abilities and managed every single issue they were meeting achieving the desired goal. According to the LoM signed by the client, we prepared 2 questionnaires, one in English and one in French, 150 responses, and we scored a 75% average response rate in the last question. So, even if we had just a few misunderstandings with the client, the goal was successfully delivered to the client on time. Considering that this was the first time ESCP Junior Consulting and Indeez worked together, the team was extremely happy, as well as the client itself.

For this reason, Indeez requested a new LoM, carrying the same type of project, in 4 different locations: Amsterdam, London, Madrid, and Berlin. The latter justifies that ESCP Junior Consulting was successfully capable of delivering a high-quality service. Indeed, the JE achieved the goal and all the customer’s needs and expectations. The European dimension of our school with our campuses spread across Europe will enable us to conduct the next mission they have asked us for.

Focusing on what I've learned on this mission, I am very thankful I had the opportunity to work with Giulio, the president, because I boosted my communication skills, especially with my team members. Additionally, I improved my capabilities to address problems with a client that is demanding additional explanations.
